Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 November 2026

In short: Zyt has no account and no servers of its own. Your tasks stay in Apple Reminders, your people stay in Apple Contacts, your mail stays in your mail accounts, and Apple Intelligence runs on your device. Zyt collects no personal data and sends nothing to us.

1. Who is responsible

Zyt is published by J.M. van Dijk, P.O. Box 000, 1955 Chamoson, Switzerland. You can reach us at hello@getzyt.app.

2. What Zyt does with your data

Zyt works on top of Apple services that are already on your device. It does not operate a backend, does not create an account for you and does not keep its own database of your data.

3. What we collect

Nothing. Zyt does not contain analytics, advertising or tracking code, and it does not transmit usage data, crash reports or identifiers to us. If you choose to share a crash report with Apple, that goes to Apple under Apple's privacy terms.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and cannot see who has subscribed.

If you email us, we keep your message for as long as needed to answer it.

4. This website

getzyt.com is a static site. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics. It is hosted by Netlify, Inc., whose servers may log standard connection data (such as your IP address) for security and operations; see Netlify's privacy policy.

5. Your rights

Because Zyt keeps no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Your data lives in your own Apple, Google and Microsoft accounts and on your devices, where you control it. Deleting Zyt removes everything Zyt stored locally; your reminders and contacts remain in Apple's apps. Under Swiss data protection law and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can contact us with any question or request at hello@getzyt.app.

6. Children

Zyt is a productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children; as described above, we do not collect data at all.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date. Material changes are also noted in the app's release notes.
